Shaun Pendrigh

Shaun Pendrigh is a South African racing driver who has rapidly ascended in the world of motorsport. Based in Cape Town, his introduction to racing came through track days across South Africa and Europe. Pendrigh made his competitive debut in the Pure McLaren GT Series at Portimao in 2021, where he impressively won the Cup class in his very first race.

In 2023, Pendrigh joined Greystone GT to compete in the McLaren Trophy, a European series supporting the GT World Challenge Europe. He teamed up with fellow South African racer Stuart White in the 570S Trophy class, driving a McLaren 570S Sprint. The McLaren Trophy presented a new challenge for Pendrigh, exposing him to larger crowds and iconic events like the Spa 24 Hours. Despite limited racing experience before 2023, Pendrigh demonstrated a capacity for fast learning. The Greystone GT team aimed to facilitate his development in the competitive racing environment.

Pendrigh and White secured fourth place in the 570S Trophy standings in the 2023 McLaren Trophy Europe. Pendrigh's early success in the Pure McLaren GT Series and his subsequent participation in the McLaren Trophy highlight his burgeoning talent and dedication to motorsport, marking him as a driver to watch in the GT racing scene.
