Sai Sanjay Thirugnana Sambandam is a 21-year-old Indian racing driver making waves in the world of motorsports. Hailing from Tamil Nadu, Sai Sanjay is set to embark on a full season in the prestigious British GT Championship in 2024, marking him as the first driver from his state to compete at this level. Managed by Pinnacle Sports and a part of NK Racing Academy, founded by India's first Formula 1 driver, Narain Karthikeyan, Sai Sanjay has a strong support system backing his racing career.

Sai Sanjay's journey began with karting at the age of 13 in the UAE, transitioning to cars in 2018. He quickly established himself, becoming the MRF 2000 Indian National Champion. In preparation for the British GT Championship, Sai Sanjay joined forces with the Race Lab team, piloting a McLaren Artura GT4 alongside Callum Davies. The duo previously secured multiple GT Cup poles, wins, and podiums, demonstrating their potential for success in the GT racing scene.

A Mechatronics student at VIT Chennai, Sai Sanjay balances his academic pursuits with his passion for racing. He has been diligently preparing for the challenges ahead, spending considerable time on racing simulators to master the UK circuits and working with Primal Patterns in Chennai for his fitness regime. Sai Sanjay's ultimate goal is to win the British GT Championship, a feat that would mark a significant milestone in his burgeoning career.
