Saeed Almehairi

Saeed Almehairi is an Emirati racing driver who began his motorsport journey in karting in 2007 in Dubai. Almehairi holds an FIA International Circuit B license, an FIA International karting license, an FIA Instructor Grand A license, an FIA Official Safety Car license, and an FIA Official Assistant Clerk of the Course license.

Almehairi quickly progressed through various championships in the UAE and the Middle East. By 2009, he competed in the Sodi Kart World Championships, securing a 3rd place finish. In 2008, Almehairi participated in the Academy class of the Formula Renault Euroseries and then transitioned to Touring Cars and GT cars, becoming a sought-after driver for the Dubai 24H race. In 2010, he joined the Yas Marina Circuit GT team, racing an Aston Martin GT4 and achieving podium finishes in 75% of his races.

In 2012, Almehairi joined Oryx Racing and competed in the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, the Dubai 24 Hours, and the Gulf 12 Hours. He finished 2nd in his class at the Dubai 24 Hours and took the top spot in the GT4 class at the Gulf 12 Hours. In 2013, he topped his previous result by finishing first in the Dubai 24 Hours. In 2014, he joined fellow Emirati Khaled Al Qubaisi in the Porsche GT3 Cup Championship Middle East, achieving five podiums and one fastest lap. Almehairi has received awards such as UAE Motorsport Star by the FIA UAE-ATC and Best GCC racing driver in 2012 by AUH Motorsport.
