Pascal Wehrlein, born on October 18, 1994, is a German-Mauritian racing driver who currently competes in Formula E for Porsche. Wehrlein's career began in karting at the age of eight, progressing to junior series in 2010. He secured his first championship title in the ADAC Formel Masters in 2011. In 2012, he finished as the runner-up in the Formula 3 Euro Series.
Wehrlein made his debut in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) in 2013 at the age of 18, becoming the youngest driver in the series. He won the DTM championship in 2015, becoming the youngest champion in the series' history. His success in DTM led to his Formula 1 debut with Manor Racing in 2016, scoring his and the team's only point of the season at the Austrian Grand Prix. He moved to Sauber in 2017, securing the team's only points that season.
After Formula 1, Wehrlein transitioned to Formula E, joining Mahindra Racing for the 2018-19 season. He later signed with Porsche Formula E Team. In 2024, he won the Formula E World Championship with Porsche. Wehrlein lives in Switzerland with his partner and daughter.
