Mikey Porter is a young and promising British racing driver making waves in the GT racing scene. Born on May 27, 2007, Porter's passion for motorsport ignited at the age of nine during karting events. Despite a later start compared to some of his peers, he quickly demonstrated a natural talent and dedication to the sport. He honed his skills in karting, competing at both national and international levels, before transitioning to car racing.
In 2022, Porter made his debut in the Ginetta Junior Championship with Preptech UK, later joining R Racing for the 2023 season where he achieved multiple podium finishes and secured 4th place in the driver standings. He then moved into GT4 racing, joining Forsetti Motorsport.
Porter's GT4 career has been impressive. In early 2024, he and teammate Jamie Day won the GT4 Winter Series, marking his first GT4 championship title. He currently competes in the British GT and GT Cup Championships with Forsetti Motorsport, leading both the drivers' and teams' championships. He also participated in the GT4 European Series. In 2024, he was the Silver Cup Champion in British GT4.
