Mike David Ortmann

Mike David Ortmann, born on October 26, 1999, is a German racing driver with a burgeoning career in GT racing. Ortmann began his motorsport journey in karting at the age of eleven, achieving early success with titles in the East Saxon State Championship and the East German ADAC Kart Cup in 2012. Transitioning to single-seaters in 2015, he competed in the ADAC Formula 4 Championship, finishing as vice-champion in the rookie standings. The following season, he secured three victories and finished third overall in the championship.

Ortmann made his debut in the ADAC GT Masters in 2017, driving an Audi R8 for Mücke Motorsport. From 2017 to 2021, he competed in the ADAC GT Masters, driving for Mücke Motorsport and Grasser Racing. In 2022, he switched to the ADAC GT4 Germany with Prosport Racing, achieving remarkable success by winning the championship title alongside Hugo Sasse in both 2022 and 2023. His accomplishments have earned him recognition, including the ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg Sports Personality of the Year in 2015.

In 2024, Ortmann was selected as the latest graduate of the Aston Martin Racing Driver Academy, joining a prestigious list of alumni. This accolade will support his campaign in the new Vantage GT3 in Europe. Ortmann is currently competing in the ADAC GT Masters with Walkenhorst Motorsport in an Aston Martin Vantage GT3, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to GT racing.
