Lorenzo Marcucci

Lorenzo Marcucci is an Italian racing driver with a diverse background in motorsport. Starting his career at the age of 10 in go-karts in 2002, he competed in national and international karting events until 2013. In 2014, Marcucci transitioned to GT racing, debuting in the GT4 European Championship in a Ginetta G50 car. From 2015 to 2017, he participated in the Mitjet Italian Series, where he emerged as the 2017 Italian Champion.

In recent years, Marcucci has broadened his racing experience, including competing in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, where he won the 2017 Motorshow of Bologna. He has also participated in Italian Prototype and Italian TCR championships. Beyond real-world racing, Marcucci is an accomplished sim racer, recognizing its importance since his early karting days. He secured a dominant victory in the second round of the 2020 SRO E-Sport GT Series at Spa, driving the #188 LP Racing Audi R8 LMS. In 2022, he achieved multiple successes in the BMW M2 CS Racing series, including a victory at the Autodromo di Misano. His achievements also include being selected by Audi Sport for the Audi TT Cup, being a rewarded sim driver at the Red Bull Game Tour and the SRO championship, and being a driving instructor at the Toyota Driving Academy. Academically, Marcucci holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
