Josh Hill

Joshua Damon Hill, born on January 9, 1991, is a British former racing driver hailing from Surrey, England. He carries a prominent racing lineage as the son of 1996 Formula One World Champion Damon Hill and the grandson of two-time Formula One World Champion Graham Hill. Following in his family's footsteps, Josh began his racing career in 2008, initially competing in the Ginetta Junior Championship where he finished third in the British Ginetta GT Junior Championship and won the Ginetta Junior Winter Championship.

Hill transitioned to single-seater racing in 2009, joining Jamun Racing in the British Formula Ford Championship. After several seasons in Formula Ford and Formula Renault, including a stint in the Toyota Racing Series in New Zealand, Hill showcased his talent with a maiden win in the 2011 British Formula Renault Championship November Finals. In 2012, he further solidified his potential by finishing third overall in the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC championship, securing five wins.

Despite showing promise, Josh Hill announced his retirement from motor racing on July 9, 2013. During his career, Hill participated in approximately 200 race starts, achieving 16 wins, 49 podium finishes, 19 pole positions, and 15 fastest laps. His career stats reveal a race win percentage of 8% and a podium percentage of 24.50%. Like his father and grandfather, Hill's helmet design was inspired by the colors of the London Rowing Club, where his grandparents met.
