Jon Barnes is a highly accomplished racing driver from the United Kingdom with over 25 years of experience competing in the UK and Europe. He boasts a diverse racing background, securing multiple championships in both sports cars and single-seaters. His impressive record includes winning the British GT Championship, the Formula Palmer Audi Championship, and multiple Caterham Racing championships.
Barnes has participated in over 200 races, achieving a remarkable podium finish rate of 75% and a race win rate of 30%. Recognized early in his career, he was named a British Racing Drivers Club (BRDC) 'Rising Star', an honor given to only a select few of Britain's most promising young drivers. Beyond his racing achievements, Jon is also an ARDS (Association of Racing Driver Schools) 'Grade A' motor racing instructor since 2005.
