Johan Kristoffersson

Johan Kristoffersson, born on December 6, 1988, is a highly decorated Swedish racecar driver, achieving remarkable success across various motorsport disciplines. The son of former racer Tommy Kristoffersson, Johan's career began in 2008 in the Junior Touring Car Championship with his father's team. His early successes include winning the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia, the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship (STCC), and the Superstars International Series in 2012. Kristoffersson further solidified his reputation by securing additional Porsche Carrera Cup titles in 2013 and 2015.

Transitioning to rallycross, Kristoffersson quickly established himself as a dominant force. He finished second in the FIA World Rallycross Championship in 2016 before embarking on an unprecedented run of success. He has since won an astounding seven World Rallycross Championships in 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. In 2018, he set a record by winning 11 out of 12 events, showcasing his exceptional skill and consistency. Beyond rallycross, Kristoffersson has also excelled in Extreme E, securing the inaugural championship title in 2021 with teammate Molly Taylor.

Kristoffersson's versatility extends to touring car racing, where he finished 5th in the FIA WTCR in 2019 and also rally, finishing 2nd in the Swedish rally championship in 2019. Known for his adaptability and mental fortitude, Kristoffersson continues to compete at the highest levels of motorsport, participating in events like the Race of Champions. His preparation and ability to stay calm under pressure have been cited as key factors in his success.
