Jarrod Waberski, born on September 20, 2005, is a South African racing driver making waves in the world of motorsport. A third-generation racer, Jarrod comes from a racing family; his father, Garth Waberski, competed in British Formula 3 and Formula Renault, also winning the 2004 Can-Am South Africa Championship. Jarrod's early career in karting saw him secure multiple regional titles in 2013, 2017, and 2018, culminating in the South African Karting Championship in 2018.
Waberski transitioned to single-seaters in 2020, debuting in the South African Formula 1600 National Championship. He quickly proved his talent with a podium finish in his first race. In 2021, he finished as runner-up in the same championship, claiming his maiden win and securing nine podiums. Jarrod then moved to the UK to further his career, where he was the runner-up in the 2022 GB4 Championship. Currently, he is competing in the 2024 GB3 Championship with Elite Motorsport. He has shown consistent performance, earning podiums and finishing within the points in every race this season.
Jarrod's talent and dedication have earned him recognition, including selection for the British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC) Rising Star program. With his sights set on higher levels of motorsport, Jarrod is definitely a driver to watch.
