Jamie Oliver Campbell-Walter, born in Oban, Scotland on December 16, 1972, is a British professional racing driver with a career spanning over two decades. Campbell-Walter's career began in single-seaters, debuting in the Formula Vauxhall Junior Winter Series in 1993. He quickly progressed, securing second place in the championship and following it up with a third-place finish in the British national championship in 1994. In 1995, he raced in the Formula Vauxhall series, finishing fifth overall, before transitioning to sports car racing.
Campbell-Walter found considerable success in GT racing, winning the British GT Championship in 1999 and the FIA GT Championship in 2000, both times behind the wheel of a Lister Storm. He continued racing with Lister for several seasons, achieving multiple wins and high championship finishes. In 2013, he joined Aston Martin Racing as a factory driver, competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and ultimately winning the LMGTE Am title. He has participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans multiple times, with a best finish of 14th in 2005.
Beyond driving, Campbell-Walter has remained active in the motorsport world. He was the official Formula One driver for the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi in 2010. In 2019, he co-founded Bullet Sports Management with Nicolas Minassian and María Catarineu, a company that represents young racing drivers. With two world championship titles, one British championship, and nine participations in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Campbell-Walter has built a strong reputation as a respected professional in the racing world.
