Jaap van Lagen, born on December 22, 1976, is a Dutch racing driver with a diverse career spanning multiple racing series. Hailing from Ede, Netherlands, Van Lagen has competed in Formula Renault 3.5, the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), and various GT competitions.
Van Lagen's early career saw him clinch titles in Formula Ford, Formula Wolkswagen Germany in 2003, and the Eurocup Megane Trophy in 2006. He transitioned to touring cars, participating in the WTCC with Lada, and later found success in GT racing. His achievements include wins in the Dutch Winter Endurance Series and the 24 Hours of Barcelona. He also achieved 3rd in the 24H Dubai in 2015 and 2nd in the ADAC GT Masters in 2014.
Throughout his career, Van Lagen has demonstrated versatility, competing in series like the Porsche Carrera Cup, VLN, and ADAC GT Masters.
