Freddie Hunt

Freddie Hunt, born on June 28, 1987, in Guilford, UK, is a British racing driver carving his own path in motorsport while carrying the legacy of his father, the 1976 Formula One World Champion, James Hunt. Freddie began his racing career in 2007, participating in Formula Ford GB and ADAC Formula Masters. In 2009, he took a break from racing due to the pressures associated with his family name.

After a hiatus, Hunt returned to motorsport, driven by a renewed sense of maturity and passion. In 2022, he signed with Reiter Engineering, a German-based team, with the ambitious goal of winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2026, marking the 50th anniversary of his father's F1 World Championship victory. Competing in the LMP2 class, Hunt participates in the Michelin Le Mans Cup Series, honing his skills and gaining experience towards his ultimate goal.

Beyond racing, Freddie has a passion for wildlife, outdoor adventures, and farm life. He once crossed the Andes mountains alone on foot. He understands the importance of mental and physical fitness for racing. He is also involved in start-ups.
