Edward Jones

Edward Jones, born on February 12, 1995, is a British racing driver with Emirati origins. Jones has built an impressive career across various racing disciplines. Starting in karting at age nine, he quickly rose through the ranks, securing multiple United Arab Emirates karting titles before transitioning to the European karting scene in 2008. He then moved to single-seaters, achieving a win in the 2011 InterSteps championship. Jones further showcased his talent in Formula Renault 2.0, earning a podium in the 2012 European F3 Open. In 2013, he dominated the European F3 Open Championship, claiming six wins and multiple podiums.

Transitioning to Indy Lights, Jones teamed up with Carlin, achieving pole positions and a victory in his debut races. He was crowned the 2016 Indy Lights Champion. This success propelled him to the IndyCar Series in 2017 with Dale Coyne Racing, where he secured a podium at the Indianapolis 500 and was named Rookie of the Year. He continued in IndyCar with Chip Ganassi Racing in 2018 and later with Ed Carpenter Racing.

In recent years, Jones has expanded his racing endeavors, participating in the FIA World Endurance Championship and making his NASCAR debut in the Craftsman Truck Series in 2023. In 2024, he joined Sam Hunt Racing to compete in multiple NASCAR Xfinity Series races, demonstrating his adaptability and commitment to building a career in stock car racing.
