Daniel Clos Álvarez, born on October 23, 1988, is a Spanish former professional race car driver from Barcelona. Clos began his motorsport career in karting, achieving considerable success by becoming a Catalan champion, Spanish champion, champion of champions, and a world champion in the Junior category. He transitioned to single-seater racing, competing in Formula Renault and Formula 3 before making his mark in the GP2 Series.

Clos joined Racing Engineering in the 2009 GP2 Series. His most successful season was in 2010, still with Racing Engineering, where he became a regular podium contender, securing his first win in the Turkish sprint race and finishing fourth in the championship standings.
