Colin Braun, born on September 22, 1988, is an accomplished American racing driver with a versatile career spanning sports car and stock car racing. Hailing from Ovalo, Texas, his passion for racing ignited early, guided by his father's coaching in go-karts. Braun's professional journey began in sports cars, where he quickly made a name for himself. He achieved significant milestones, including becoming the youngest driver to race in the top-tier Prototype class at the Rolex 24 at Daytona. His talent attracted the attention of top teams, leading him to NASCAR with Roush Fenway Racing and Ford in 2007, where he secured wins, poles, and Rookie-of-the-Year honors in the Truck and Nationwide Series.

Braun's sports car accolades include multiple wins at renowned IMSA endurance races like the Rolex 24, 12 Hours of Sebring, and Petit Le Mans. He is a three-time IMSA champion, securing Prototype Challenge titles in 2014 and 2015 and an LMP3 championship in 2022. He currently races the No. 60 Acura ARX-06 for Meyer Shank Racing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. In 2023, he was part of the winning team at the 24 Hours of Daytona. Beyond his on-track success, Braun has also contributed to racecar development through simulation, testing, and wind tunnel analysis, showcasing his technical expertise and dedication to motorsport engineering.
