Andrea Ceccato, born on November 23, 1986, is a distinguished Italian racing driver with a career spanning several racing disciplines since 1994. Ceccato's early career was rooted in karting, where he secured a Triveneto Championship and participated in Italian and European championships. Transitioning to formula racing, he competed in Formula Renault Monza and Formula Renault 2000.
Ceccato has achieved significant success in GT racing. In 2005, he finished fourth in the Italian GT Championship GT3, securing multiple victories. The following year, he claimed third place in the FIA GT3 European Championship with two race wins at Silverstone and Oschersleben, driving a Dodge Viper. His accomplishments also include a third-place finish in the Gold Cup 6 Hrs of Vallelunga in GT2. In 2009, he secured 3rd position in the Le Mans Series (LMP2) with multiple podiums and a pole position. He has four wins in the GT Open since 2008.
More recently, Ceccato has been involved in the Italian GT Championship, driving a BMW M4 GT3 for BMW Italia Ceccato Racing. In 2022, he won the iRacing 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. His diverse experience and achievements underscore his versatility and skill as a racing driver.
