Alexander Marmureanu is an American racing driver with a diverse background and a passion for motorsports. Born in Romania in the early 1960s, he immigrated to the United States and has found success both in his medical career as a cardiovascular surgeon and on the racetrack.

Marmureanu has participated in various racing events, including the 2022 Classic 24 Hour at Daytona, where he drove a 2010 Porsche 997 GT3-R. He has experience in the Porsche Carrera Cup North America, competing in the Pro-Am class. Beyond racing, Marmureanu is an accomplished athlete with a background in skiing, tennis, and windsurfing, showcasing his overall athleticism, which translates well to the demands of racing.
