Erno Kostamo, a 32-year-old Finnish racer, has made a name for himself in the world of road racing. Kostamo made his road racing debut in 2016 at Imatra in his homeland and has since become a regular competitor in the International Road Racing Championship (IRRC), securing multiple wins and podiums. He achieved a significant milestone in 2022 by becoming the first Finnish rider to win the Macau Grand Prix, and the first non-British winner since 1997.
Kostamo's talent extends to other notable road racing events. He has consistently delivered strong performances at the North West 200, where he debuted in 2019. In 2023 he grabbed three top-ten finishes. Beyond the IRRC and the North West 200, Kostamo has also competed in the Isle of Man TT.
Racing on an RSV Motorsport M1000RR BMW in 2025, Kostamo continues to be a prominent figure in road racing. Known for his skill and determination, he remains a formidable competitor on any road course.
