Ash SAMADI

Ash Samadi is a seasoned Australian GT racing driver with a career spanning nearly two decades. Born on July 28, 1969, Samadi began his transition into GT racing in the mid-2000s, initially piloting Porsches before making a notable switch to a Mosler MT900 GT3 in 2010. In 2011, he secured a personal best of fifth place in the championship.

Over the past decade, Samadi has consistently participated in both the Porsche Carrera Cup and various GT racing series. The Bathurst 12 Hour has been a regular fixture in his racing calendar, with a significant achievement of finishing second in the Am Class at the 2017 edition. In 2023, he also ventured into the Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia, competing at Sepang. His part-time campaign in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia in the same year yielded impressive results, including podium finishes in the Am Class at Queensland Raceway.

In 2024, Samadi is set to compete full-time in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia, partnering with Audi Sport Customer Racing Australia. He will be driving an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo 2, adorned with his signature 'lion' livery. Samadi has expressed his enthusiasm for the Audi, stating that its active driving style suits him well.
