Sheena Monk

Sheena Monk is an American racing driver who currently competes in the IMSA SportsCar Championship. Born on March 16, 1989, in Newtown, Pennsylvania, Monk began her racing career relatively late, making her debut in 2017 after completing a racing license course with Lamborghini.

Monk's initial foray into motorsports was in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series. In 2018, she achieved fourth place in the LB Cup, securing one win, two pole positions, and seven podium finishes. She later transitioned to the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, where she demonstrated her capabilities driving a McLaren 570S GT4, earning a victory at Road America in 2020.

In 2023, Monk advanced to the IMSA SportsCar Championship GTD class with Gradient Racing, driving an Acura NSX GT3 Evo22. Partnering with Katherine Legge, she formed an all-female lineup, achieving a best finish of fourth at the 24 Hours of Daytona. As of 2025, Monk is driving the No. 021 Triarsi Competizione Ferrari 296 GT3 in the IMSA SportsCar Championship. Throughout her career, Monk has shown resilience, notably recovering from serious injuries sustained in a 2018 crash at Laguna Seca. Her perseverance and determination have made her a respected competitor in the sportscar racing world. Her ultimate goal is to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
