Ricardo Sanchez

Ricardo Sánchez is a Mexican racing driver who turned his sim racing skills into a real-world racing career. His journey began like many young motorsport enthusiasts, karting at a young age, but financial constraints threatened to halt his progress. However, Sánchez's career took a dramatic turn when he entered the Nissan PlayStation GT Academy International competition. Against thousands of competitors, he emerged victorious, which propelled him into the world of professional racing.

Sánchez's win opened doors to prestigious series such as the Blancpain Endurance Series and the Pirelli World Challenge, where he raced with the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3. In 2017, he expanded his horizons into prototype racing, piloting an Oreca LMP2 car. Continuing in prototypes, he also raced in a Ligier LMP3 series.
