Reshad De Gerus

Reshad de Gerus, born on July 1, 2003, is a rising star in the world of French motorsport. Hailing from Réunion, France, this young driver has quickly made a name for himself in various racing series. De Gerus began his motorsport journey at the age of five in karting, following in the footsteps of his father, who had experience in rally car racing. He honed his skills in karting before transitioning to single-seaters.

De Gerus competed in the French F4 Championship in 2018 and 2019. During his debut season in the Junior category, he finished as runner-up to Théo Pourchaire, securing four wins and 16 podiums. Progressing to the full championship in 2019, De Gerus claimed four victories, including a memorable win at the Pau Circuit, ultimately finishing second overall. In 2021, he ventured into Formula 3 with Charouz Racing System, gaining valuable experience racing alongside established drivers like Logan Sargeant and Enzo Fittipaldi.

In recent years, De Gerus has transitioned to sports car racing, competing in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS). He joined Duqueine Team in 2022 and later moved to Cool Racing in 2023, where he achieved his first pole position in sports cars at Barcelona. He is currently driving for IDEC Sport in the ELMS, demonstrating consistent performance with multiple top-five finishes. In addition to his ELMS endeavors, De Gerus has participated in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans, showcasing his talent on the world stage. In 2024, he was also selected for the FIA World Endurance Championship rookie test in Bahrain.
