Neil Langberg

Neil Langberg, born on July 30, 1953, is an American racing driver who joined Forte Racing in 2025. Langberg co-pilots the #53 Race for RP/Relapsing Polychondritis Motorsports Forte McLaren Artura Trophy EVO with Kevin Madsen in the McLaren Trophy America season. He brings experience as a seasoned competitor and a successful professional in investment management. He participated in series including the Pure McLaren Series, McLaren Trophy Europe, and IMSA's Ferrari Challenge Series, becoming a fan favorite known for his dedication and charisma.

Before racing, Langberg worked in investment management for over four decades, retiring in 2018. He then pursued motorsports and raising awareness for Relapsing Polychondritis (RP), a rare autoimmune disease. As a co-founder of the Race for RP program, he promotes awareness and supports research efforts. Affectionately called the “Old Guy Racer,” Langberg is known for his wisdom and positivity.

Langberg's racing journey began after taking Ferrari driving courses in 2008. He recognizes that racing tests courage, physical strength, and mental capacity and emphasizes the importance of top-level instruction on the track. He aims to win over McLaren Trophy America fans while advocating for Relapsing Polychondritis and other underfunded autoimmune diseases, inspired by his wife Nancy's diagnosis with RP.
