Matija Jurisic

Matija Jurisic is a rising star in Croatian motorsport, making a name for himself in hill climb racing. Born on April 20, 2003, this young driver from Fiume (Rijeka), Croatia, began his racing career in karting, achieving multiple Croatian championships and winning the international Sportstill Cup in 2019. Jurisic transitioned to automobile racing in 2020, quickly demonstrating his talent by winning his class in his debut hill climb race at Skradin. He continued his success with victories in his class at Malačka – Split and wins in Rally Ronde competitions.

In recent years, Jurisic has focused on the European Hill Climb Championship (EHC). Driving a Peugeot 308 TCR, he achieved significant success, culminating in an unofficial EHC title in 2024, marking Croatia's first title in the competition in 11 years. Despite facing tough competition from drivers across Europe, Jurisic has shown exceptional skill and mental fortitude. His achievements have been recognized by the Croatian Auto and Karting Federation (HAKS), who have celebrated his success and contribution to Croatian motorsport.
