Marcus Marshall

Marcus John Marshall, born on November 25, 1978, is an Australian former Champ Car driver. Marshall's career has seen him compete in various racing series, including British Formula Three, Champ Car, A1 Grand Prix, and V8 Supercars. He began racing in British Formula Three, securing a notable win in a wet race. In 2005, he participated in 12 races for Team Australia Racing in Champ Car, achieving two top-ten finishes, with his best being 8th at Edmonton. However, he was later replaced due to a contract breach.

Marshall also showcased his talent in A1 Grand Prix, finishing third in a race at the Sentul International Circuit in 2006. In the same year, he raced full-time in V8 Supercars but lost his seat for 2007. He returned to Carrera Cup and later to V8 Supercars, with stints at various teams. In 2009, he established his own team, Marcus Marshall Motorsport, which faced financial difficulties and ceased operations after six races. More recently, Marshall has participated in the Australian GT Championship. Away from the track, he has also worked in the mining industry and as a racing driver coach.
