Leonard Weiss

Leonard Weiss is a rising German racing driver making a name for himself in the world of GT and prototype racing. Born on July 19, 1998, Weiss, now 26, initially gravitated towards motocross before discovering his passion for cars upon obtaining his driver's license. He began his motorsport journey in 2018, cutting his teeth on the challenging Nordschleife circuit, piloting GT4 and GT3 cars.

Weiss transitioned to LMP3 prototype racing, drawn by its increasing popularity and attractive price point. Despite lacking a background in Formula racing, he quickly adapted to the unique demands of prototype machinery. In 2021, he embarked on his first full season in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, partnering with Torsten Kratz. Weiss also participated in the Asian Le Mans Series and the Prototype Cup Germany, achieving multiple podium finishes. Weiss is classified as a Silver-ranked driver. He has a total of 4 podiums in the Le Mans Cup and 3 podiums in the European Le Mans Series.

While Weiss is a late starter in racing compared to many of his peers, his dedication and rapid progress have marked him as a driver to watch. With experience in various GT and prototype series, he continues to hone his skills and pursue further success in the competitive world of motorsport.
