Jonathan Woolridge

Jonathan Woolridge is a rising star in Canadian motorsports, hailing from Ajax, Ontario. His racing journey began in karting before progressing to Formula 1600. Woolridge has steadily climbed the ranks, showcasing his talent in various racing disciplines. In 2022, he dominated the Emzone Radical Cup Canada, securing the championship title by winning all ten rounds. He has experience in LMP3 racing, even testing in Europe.

Woolridge is currently competing in the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge in 2025, driving the No. 54 Ligier JS P320 for MLT Motorsports. His first race with the team was at Daytona. He captured his first VP Racing SportsCar Challenge win at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) in 2023. In the 2024 season, he finished seventh in the P3 standings with a third-place finish at St. Pete and a second-place finish at CTMP. Recently, in March 2025, Woolridge secured a dramatic victory at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) after the leading cars ran out of fuel on the last lap, marking his second career win in the series.

Woolridge's ultimate goal is to race at Le Mans. Besides racing, Jonathan is a factory-recognized Porsche instructor and GT3 Cup test driver. With his dedication and recent success, Woolridge is definitely a driver to watch in the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge and beyond.
