Jonathan Bennett

Jonathan Bennett is an American racing driver with a diverse background in motorsports. Born on May 4, 1965, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, Bennett currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. He's a Bronze-rated driver, according to FIA classifications. Bennett's career highlights include two WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Prototype Challenge Driver Championships in 2014 and 2015. These championships were secured while driving for his own team, CORE Autosport, alongside co-driver Colin Braun. Their successful partnership also led to winning the Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Cup in 2014.

CORE Autosport, founded by Bennett in 2010, has been a prominent team in IMSA competition. They've competed in various classes, including Prototype Challenge, GT, GTLM, Prototype, DPi, and LMP3. Bennett and CORE Autosport achieved significant milestones, including winning the Rolex 24 at Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring in the PC class in 2014.
