Jamie Whincup

Jamie Whincup, born on February 6, 1983, is an Australian professional racing driver who has etched his name into Supercars history. Known as "JDub" to fans, Whincup's career is highlighted by a record-breaking seven Supercars Championship titles, achieved in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2017. He also boasts four Bathurst 1000 victories, solidifying his reputation as one of the greatest drivers in the sport. Beyond his driving prowess, Whincup currently serves as the Team Principal for Triple Eight Race Engineering.

Whincup's Supercars journey began in 2002 with Garry Rogers Motorsport, and after a full-time season in 2003 and a brief stint with Tasman Motorsport, he found a home with Triple Eight Race Engineering in 2006. It was here that he truly blossomed, securing his first championship in 2008 and embarking on a period of sustained dominance.
