James Rappaport

James Rappaport is an American racing driver who competes in GT4 America. While information on his early life and career is scarce, Rappaport began racing in the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and quickly progressed through the ranks. He met his coach and mentor, Robert Orcutt, in SCCA and won his first race in GT2 in a Porsche Cayman.

Rappaport's racing career accelerated when he joined The Racers Group (TRG). Driving a Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport, he has participated in the Pirelli GT4 America series, often co-driving with experienced racers. In 2019, he partnered with Derek DeBoer in the Pirelli GT4 America West series. Rappaport's sponsors have included LaSalle Solutions, Silver State Medical Consultants, LienStar, and Westpark Capital. He has achieved multiple podium finishes throughout his career and finished second in the GT4 SprintX P2 Driver Championship.
