James Mcguire

James McGuire is an American racing driver with a passion for endurance racing. Born on November 13th, near Watkins Glen International in the USA, McGuire's early exposure to motorsport ignited a lifelong interest. While also serving as the CEO of AERO, McGuire has carved out a notable career in sports car racing, primarily with United Autosports.

McGuire's racing journey includes participation in various prestigious series such as the Michelin Le Mans Cup, the Asian Le Mans Series, and the European Le Mans Series. A significant achievement came in the 2020 Asian Le Mans Series where he, along with co-drivers Andrew Bentley and Duncan Tappy, secured second place in the LMP3 championship, highlighted by podium finishes in three out of the four races. In 2021, McGuire made his IMSA debut at the 12 Hours of Sebring, later achieving a podium finish in the LMP2 class at Watkins Glen, a track close to his hometown. He continued to compete in the European Le Mans Series, stepping up to the LMP2 class in 2023.

Although McGuire officially retired from racing, he remains an integral part of the United Autosports team, with his company Entrotech becoming a minority shareholder. His career highlights include podium finishes at the Gulf 12 Hours in both 2016 and 2019, demonstrating his consistent performance and dedication to the sport.
