Gregorio Bertocco

Gregorio Bertocco, born on May 17, 2005, is a rising Italian racing driver making waves in the Ligier European Series. Hailing from Valdagno, in the province of Vicenza, Gregorio's passion for motorsports is deeply rooted, with his father, Vinicio, being a former rally driver.

Bertocco's journey began at the tender age of four at the Arzignano karting track. His talent quickly became apparent as he dominated local mini-category races. Progressing through the ranks, he achieved significant success in the Rotax Max Italia championship, securing victories in 2015 and 2017 in the Mini category. He also participated in the Rotax world finals in Portugal in 2017. Transitioning to the Junior category in 2018, he continued to hone his skills before stepping up to the DD2 category in 2020. Even as one of the youngest drivers in the category, he distinguished himself and in 2022 he was crowned Italian champion for the fourth time and participated in the world finals in Bahrain multiple times. He also secured a sixth-place finish at the International Trophy in Le Mans in 2022.

In 2024, Bertocco embarked on his car racing career in the Ligier European Series, joining the Iron Lynx team alongside teammate Matteo Pianezzola, with support from Luca Riccitelli. He currently competes in the Ligier European Series - JS2 R class. As of October 2024, he has started 11 races, securing 1 win, 2 podiums, and 1 fastest lap.
