Fabian Coulthard

Fabian "Fabs" Coulthard, born on July 28, 1982, is a British-born New Zealand professional race car driver. Coulthard's racing journey began with karts at a young age before transitioning to Formula Ford. A significant milestone early in his career was winning the Alan Jones Trophy at the 2002 Australian Grand Prix support races. He further honed his skills in the British Formula Renault series, even sharing a team with future Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton.

Coulthard returned to Australia and made his mark in the Porsche Carrera Cup, earning the Rookie of the Year title in 2004 and winning the championship in 2005. He then transitioned to Supercars, initially co-driving before securing a full-time role. A breakthrough season came in 2013 with Brad Jones Racing, where he achieved his first Supercars race wins and finished sixth in the championship. He continued to demonstrate his abilities with DJR Team Penske, contributing to multiple team championships.

More recently, Coulthard has transitioned into a co-driving role, currently with Walkinshaw Andretti United, pairing with rookie Ryan Wood in 2024. He has worked with teams including Paul Cruickshank Racing, Walkinshaw Racing, Brad Jones Racing, Team Penske and Team Sydney, earning multiple wins, podiums, and pole positions throughout his career.
