Devlin Defrancesco

Devlin DeFrancesco, born on January 17, 2000, is a Canadian-Italian auto racing driver currently competing in the IndyCar Series with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. DeFrancesco's career began in karting, where he achieved significant success, including a second-place finish in the Italian Championship and third in the CIK FIA European Championship in 2014. Progressing through various junior series, he claimed the 2017 Spanish F3 Championship and was named USF Pro 2000 Rookie of the Year in 2020.

DeFrancesco entered the IndyCar Series in 2022 with Andretti Steinbrenner Autosport. After a season in sports cars, in 2025, he signed a multi-year deal with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. A graduate of INDY NXT by Firestone, DeFrancesco's diverse racing background includes victories in North American and European karting. In 2022, he secured a notable win in the LMP2 class at the Rolex 24 At Daytona, sharing the victory with fellow IndyCar drivers Pato O'Ward and Colton Herta, alongside Eric Lux.

Beyond racing, DeFrancesco is known to be a dog lover with interests in cycling and boating. If he weren't a racing driver, he would consider a career in private finance, following in his father's footsteps.
