Daniil Move

Daniil Move, born on December 11, 1985, is a professional racing driver who has competed in various international series. Although some sources list his nationality as Russian, other sources claim he is from the United States. Move's career highlights include participation in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series, where he accumulated 108 starts. While he never secured a win in the series, he achieved one pole position and demonstrated consistent performance, finishing in the top 10 overall in both the 2009 and 2011 seasons. During this period, he was associated with the youth programs of Formula 1 teams Marussia and Lotus.

Before Formula Renault 3.5, Move gained experience in other racing categories. In 2003, he won an amateur karting championship in Moscow and subsequently participated in two races of the English Formula Ford Championship, achieving a 3rd and 1st place finish. In 2004, he secured financial backing and became the vice-champion and best newcomer in the Russian "Formula Russ" championship. He also served as a test pilot for the first-ever Russian carbon-fiber formula chassis "ArtTech" in 2005. Furthermore, Daniil competed in the F3000 International Masters championship in 2006, securing a 3rd place finish at Oschersleben and a 4th place finish at Magny-Cours. In 2013, he participated in several races of the "Blancpain GT Series" in a Ferrari.

Beyond racing, Move has also been involved in media and other activities. He worked as a TV presenter, co-host, and journalist on channels such as Eurosport, Russia-2, AUTO+, and Ren-TV from 2006 to 2014. He was also involved in charity work with the Formula 1 team from 2004 to 2013. According to a test conducted by Formula Medicine in 2008, Daniil Move was recognized as the physically and mentally best-prepared racing driver in the world.
