Clément Mateu

Clément Mateu is a French racing driver born on April 29, 1981, in Montpellier, France. His passion for motorsport ignited after attending the 1996 Monaco Grand Prix with his father. Mateu embarked on his racing journey in 2000, initially competing in single-seaters in Formula Renault until 2004.

After a brief hiatus, Mateu returned to racing in 2007, joining Hexis Racing and driving an Aston Martin DBRS9 in the FIA GT3 European Championship. He has since participated in various GT competitions, including the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and the Intercontinental GT Challenge. In 2021, Mateu became the CEO of Hexis Australia. He also made his debut in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup with Martinet by Almeras. In recent years, he has been seen competing in the FIA Endurance Trophy - LMGT3, driving an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo for D'Station Racing and the Ligier European Series - JS2 R for AGS Events.
