Christian Rasmussen

Christian Rasmussen, born on June 29, 2000, is a talented Danish race car driver hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark. Currently, he competes full-time in the IndyCar Series, driving the No. 20/33 Chevrolet for Ed Carpenter Racing. Rasmussen's career has been marked by consistent success across various racing series, demonstrating his adaptability and skill behind the wheel.

Before reaching IndyCar, Rasmussen showcased his abilities in the Road to Indy program. He secured the Indy NXT championship in 2023, driving for HMD Motorsports with Dale Coyne Racing, with five wins, five poles, and eight podium finishes. In 2021, he clinched the Indy Pro 2000 Championship with Jay Howard Driver Development, amassing seven wins, two poles, and twelve podiums. His earlier achievements include winning the U.S. F2000 National Championship in 2020, where he dominated the field with nine victories and eight poles.

Rasmussen made his IndyCar debut in 2024 and is currently embarking on his first full season in the series with Ed Carpenter Racing in 2025. Off the track, he is known as a "big car guy" with a passion for classic automobiles. He also maintains close friendships with fellow Danish driver Christian Lundgaard and enjoys playing pickleball with other members of the racing paddock.
