Christian Hohenadel

Christian Hohenadel, born on September 20, 1976, is a German racing driver with a diverse and accomplished career. Starting in karting from 1987 to 1996, Hohenadel steadily progressed through various racing series, including Deutsche Formula BMW and Deutsche Formula Ford in the 1990s. He gained experience in Formula Palmer Audi and V8Star Series before transitioning to GT racing.

Hohenadel's career highlights include winning the 2010 FIA GT3 European Championship with Daniel Keilwitz, driving a Callaway Corvette Z06.R GT3. In 2011, he competed in the FIA GT1 World Championship with Andrea Piccini for Hexis AMR in an Aston Martin DBR9, securing a victory at the Sachsenring. He was also part of the Audi TT RS team that achieved the first VLN pole with a FWD car at the Nürburgring in 2011. He has also achieved 22 wins, 5 poles, 242 races, 58 podiums and 7 fastest laps.

More recently, Hohenadel has transitioned into team management. As of 2024, he is the team principal for Winward Racing, a German-American team that fields the Mercedes-AMG Team MANN-FILTER in the DTM series.
