Aku Pellinen

Aku Pellinen, born on May 17, 1993, is a Finnish racing driver with a diverse motorsport background. Pellinen's career began in karting in 2000, before transitioning to cars in 2009 in the Finnish V1600 Cup, where he became champion in 2010. He then progressed to the European stage, winning the Trofeo Abarth 500 Europe series in 2012. In 2013, he competed in the Italian SEAT Ibiza Cup, finishing third overall.

In 2014, Pellinen ventured into touring car racing, participating in the European Touring Car Cup. He achieved significant success, securing four wins, four podiums, four fastest laps, and one pole position, ultimately finishing third in the championship. He also made an appearance in the SEAT León Eurocup that year. The following year, he switched to the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy, finishing seventh in the standings, and also participated in two Porsche Supercup events.

In 2016, Pellinen joined the TCR International Series, driving a Honda Civic TCR for WestCoast Racing. He quickly made an impact, securing his maiden TCR victory, and demonstrating his adaptability and talent in front-wheel-drive touring cars. Throughout his career, Aku Pellinen has showcased versatility across various racing disciplines, securing championships and strong results, marking him as a notable Finnish talent in motorsport.
