USCC - IMSA SportsCar Championship

The IMSA SportsCar Championship, knownas the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for sponsorship reasons, is the premier sports car racing series in North America.
Organized by the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA), the championship features a multi-class format wherehigh-performance prototypes and grand touring cars compete simultaneously on some of the most iconic road courses in the United States and Canada.
The series was formed in 2014 through the merger of twoprominent North American sports car racing leagues, the American Le Mans Series and the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series, creatinga unified top-tier championship.
The season is highlighted by several prestigious endurance races, including the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, the Sahlen's SixHours of The Glen, and the Motul Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.
