Sandra Sloot, Van Der

Sandra van der Sloot, born on March 19, 1975, is a highly accomplished Dutch racing driver with a career spanning over three decades. She began racing at the age of 17 in the Citroen AX Cup in 1992. Early in her career, she quickly proved her talent, securing wins and finishing as runner-up in the Ladies' class in her first season. In 1996, she was chosen for the Mitsubishi works squad in the Dutch Touring Car Championship.

Van der Sloot has achieved significant milestones, including five Dutch championships across various racing disciplines. No other Dutch woman has achieved as many podium finishes as she has, making her the most successful female driver from the Netherlands to date. A particularly memorable part of her career involves racing in the 24 Hours of Dubai with an all-female team called the "Racing Divas".

Throughout her career, Sandra has raced in various series, including the Citroen AX Cup, Dutch Touring Car Championship, and the Italian GT Championship. In 2024, she competed in the Italian GT Championship in a Porsche 911, winning the Imola round. Her early experiences in a male-dominated sport required her to initially obtain her racing license under a male name, highlighting the challenges she overcame to pursue her passion.
