Rory Penttinen

Rory Penttinen, born on October 30, 1979, is a Finnish racing driver with a diverse background in motorsport. Penttinen's international career began in 2007 when he secured a world championship title in the Legends series finals held in California, USA. Since then, he has participated in various racing series, showcasing his adaptability across different car types.

Penttinen is known as a reliable endurance driver with the ability to quickly adapt to new cars and tracks. Notable achievements in his career include a victory at the Nurburgring 24H race in 2014 with Hyundai Germany and a win at the Dubai 24H in 2017 while driving a Lamborghini Huracan for GDL-racing. In 2017, he debuted in the Blancpain GT Series, driving a Ferrari 488 GT3 for Rinaldi Racing, and achieved a third-place finish in his class. From 2017 to 2019, he primarily raced GT3 cars, specifically the Ferrari 488 GT, with Rinaldi Racing and Kessel Racing, also participating in endurance races like the 25H VW FunCup.

In 2021, Penttinen competed in the Asian Le Mans Series with United Autosports, driving the LMP3 car #23 alongside Wayne Boyd and Manuel Maldonado. That same year, he also participated in the European Le Mans Series with Graff Racing, driving the LMP3 car #9 with Matthias Kaiser.
