PATRICE LAFARGUE

Patrice Lafargue is a French racing driver and team owner, born on June 22, 1961, in Nevers, France. While he enjoys spending his weekdays as the President of the IDEC Group, Lafargue dedicates his weekends to his passion for racing. In 2015, he founded IDEC Sport. Lafargue himself is a Bronze-rated driver who competes in the Michelin Le Mans Cup in the LMP3 class.

Although his professional racing record may not boast numerous podium finishes, with zero total podiums, his passion for the sport is undeniable. He has participated in 174 races, securing 17 wins and 34 podiums. Lafargue has also started in pole position 5 times and achieved 5 fastest laps. In 2017, he shared the wheel with his son, Paul Lafargue, at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Later, he transitioned to a team owner role, focusing on competitive LMP2 teams. His son, Paul Lafargue, has established himself in endurance racing, securing a European Champion title in 2019.
