Michael Mcaleenan

Michael McAleenan is an American racing driver with a diverse background, transitioning from a competitive baseball career to achieving success on the racetrack. Before dedicating himself to racing, McAleenan played collegiate baseball at Arizona State University for a year before transferring to Washington State University. He later pursued a law degree, showcasing his diverse interests and capabilities. McAleenan's entry into motorsports came later in life when a friend introduced him to a sports driving course, sparking a passion that led him to dedicate significant time and resources to the sport.

McAleenan's racing journey includes achievements in NASA (National Auto Sport Association) events, where he secured a GTS4 National Championship in 2013, followed by another National Championship in ST3 in 2014. His early racing efforts involved a BMW M3, which eventually led to acquiring a dedicated race car, a transformed 2001 BMW enhanced with a V8 engine, sequential transmission, and aerodynamic and suspension upgrades prepared by Lowe Group Racing. More recently, McAleenan has been seen competing in the Trans Am series, driving a No. 31 Smith Alling PS/Lowe Group Racing Lamborghini GT3 Huracan EVO. In a 2023 Rose Cup race, McAleenan secured pole position. In early 2025, he raced a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo at the Road Atlanta Hoosier Super Tour.
