Luiz Felipe Nasr

Luiz Felipe de Oliveira Nasr, born on August 21, 1992, is a Brazilian racing driver with Lebanese roots, currently competing in the IMSA SportsCar Championship for Porsche. Nasr's early exposure to motorsport came through his father and uncle, who ran a racing team. He began karting at the age of eight, and quickly progressed through the ranks, winning several karting and junior formula championships.

Nasr's career took him to Europe, where he competed in Formula BMW, British Formula 3, and the GP2 Series, winning the British F3 title in 2011. In 2014, he became the official test driver for Williams in Formula 1 before joining Sauber as a full-time driver in 2015 and 2016. His debut season saw a strong start, finishing fifth in the Australian Grand Prix.

Since 2018, Nasr has found success in the IMSA SportsCar Championship, securing three titles in 2018, 2021 and 2024. Nasr has also won major endurance races, including the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2019 and the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2024 and 2025. In 2022, he became a Porsche factory driver.
