Lucas Weisenberg

Lucas Weisenberg is an American racing driver currently competing in the Toyota GR Cup North American series with Lucas Racing. The 2025 season marks Lucas Racing's third year in the GR Cup, and Weisenberg is aiming for both Team and Driver Championships. In 2024, he secured a pole position at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and finished second in the race. He also achieved two third-place finishes at Sonoma Raceway and Barber Motorsports Park. Lucas Racing finished third in the 2024 Team Championship Standings and was awarded Crew of the Year.

Weisenberg began racing cars in early 2021, dedicating himself to improving his driving skills. He has participated in numerous test days and race weekends, gaining experience in various types of cars, from high-horsepower factory-built race cars to low-horsepower street cars. He has extensive experience driving Porsches and BMWs, understanding the nuances of different engine placements.

Before transitioning to racing cars, Weisenberg competed in Time Trial events in 2020. Lucas also offers coaching services for aspiring racers, providing expertise in racing lines, track walks, data analysis, and in-car communication. He aims to provide drivers with the tools to improve their speed and safety on the track.
