David Reynolds

David Reynolds, born on July 3, 1985, is a prominent Australian racing driver currently competing in the Repco Supercars Championship for Team 18, driving the No. 20 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Hailing from Albury, NSW, Reynolds' journey into motorsports began early, fueled by his father's involvement in rally racing. This early exposure ignited a passion that led him to karting and eventually into open-wheel racing, honing his skills across various categories in Australia and Europe.

Reynolds' career highlights include winning the prestigious 2017 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 with co-driver Luke Youlden. Before making his mark in Supercars, he secured the 2004 Australian Formula Ford Championship and the 2007 Porsche Carrera Cup crown. He debuted in the Supercars Championship in 2007 and has seven Supercars race wins to his name. His early Supercars career included stints with Paul Weel Racing, Walkinshaw Racing, and Kelly Racing. He later drove for Rod Nash Racing and Erebus Motorsport, achieving significant success, including his Bathurst victory. More recently, he raced for Kelly Grove Racing before joining Team 18 in 2024.

Outside of racing, Reynolds resides in Melbourne, Victoria, and enjoys hobbies such as cycling, Muay Thai, and UFC. He is also a family man, with partner Tahan and children Ryu and Ravayah Rae. Reynolds sees his role as a father as his most important, and brings his family to the racetrack.
