Chase Elliott

William Clyde "Chase" Elliott II, born on November 28, 1995, is a prominent American stock car racing driver. Hailing from Dawsonville, Georgia, he currently competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, piloting the No. 9 Chevrolet ZL1 for Hendrick Motorsports. Chase also participates part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 17 Chevrolet Camaro for the same team. Continuing his family's racing legacy, Chase is the son of NASCAR Hall of Famer and 1988 Winston Cup Series champion Bill Elliott. In 2020, he secured his first Cup Series championship. By March 2025, Elliott has accumulated 19 career Cup Series victories.

Elliott's career boasts several significant achievements, including the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series championship, where he became the youngest driver to win a national series championship in NASCAR history. He earned the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year award in 2016 and has been voted the Most Popular Driver in the Cup Series seven times consecutively, from 2018 to 2024, an honor his father also held for a record sixteen times. Before his Cup Series debut, Elliott honed his skills in the ARCA Racing Series and the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, showcasing his talent early in his career.

Chase Elliott kicked off the 2025 season with a victory at the 2025 Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium. He is paired with crew chief Alan Gustafson.
